Running and music

Running or jogging is one of the best ways of keeping in shape. There is no other exercise that is as intense for the body as running, may it be swimming, rowing etc. If you are a fitness enthusiast and if you don’t run, then you are either lying or missing something very important. The beauty about running is that it affects every part of the body. It shakes every part, making sure every part of the body is getting used and is not getting rusty.
While running is so important and so vital for great health, it can become a bit boring after a certain period and this is where music jumps in. There is no doubt that music and running go hand in hand. Whenever you listen to a great cd, you automatically start shaking your feet to the rhythm. Our body is designed to respond to great music. Recently I was at a friend’s place and I heard him playing a cd he had recently bought, I was so caught up to the music that I immediately knew that this cd is going to help me with my daily running session so I got some cd duplication done. The very next day as I woke up and went for running after I had transferred the music from the cd to my iPod, I had one of the best times. It’s funny how good music can make your heart pant and your body run.
If you are not in your best health and if you know that you need to get fit, then don’t wait for anybody, just get hold of your music system and start running. Trust me you will have a great time.
